How to make a Strava post look better
The difference between a Strava post that gets ignored and one that gets kudos is rarely the activity itself. It is the title, the photo, and whether the post tells a story at a glance.
Rewrite the title
Replace generic titles like 'Morning Padel' with something that contains the result, the partner or the location. 'Padel · Win 6-4 6-3 with Marco · PCA' tells a story in one line.
Always add a photo
Strava activities with photos get measurably more engagement. Even a phone shot of the court, gym or DZ helps. A structured recap image works even better.
Use the description
Add the details Strava does not capture — score, division, depth, lifts, drop zone. Bullet style is fine.
Add a visual recap
A single image that summarises the session sits at the top of the feed. UPPOST generates this per sport so it does not look like a generic graphic.
Post within 24 hours
Strava feeds favour recency. A post that goes up the same day gets more impressions than the same post two days later.
FAQ
How long should the caption be?
Two to four short lines is usually best. Long captions get truncated in the feed.
What size should the photo be?
Square (1:1) or portrait (4:5) works well. UPPOST exports the right size by default.
