Refunds & Right of Withdrawal
Last updated: 2 June 2026
1. UPPOST is a digital service
UPPOST delivers a digital service that is performed (made available to you) immediately after payment. This is important for the EU 14-day right of withdrawal — see below.
2. EU right of withdrawal (digital content/service)
Under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU), consumers normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. For digital services and digital content not on a tangible medium, this right is lost once performance has begun, provided the consumer:
- has given prior express consent for immediate performance, and
- acknowledges that the right of withdrawal is therefore lost.
At checkout you tick a mandatory box confirming both of the above. By proceeding to pay, you waive your right of withdrawal once we begin providing the service (which happens immediately on payment confirmation).
3. Subscriptions — cancel any time
Monthly and yearly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from your account. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period already paid. We do not pro-rate refunds for the current period unless required by law.
4. Lifetime plan
The €49 lifetime plan is a one-time purchase for the lifetime of the product (see Terms, clause 5). Because access starts immediately, it is also subject to the withdrawal waiver above.
5. When we will refund
We will issue a refund if:
- the service was materially unavailable for a sustained period due to our fault, or
- we are required to under applicable consumer law, or
- a payment was made in error (e.g. duplicate charge).
Refund requests are handled case-by-case. Contact hello@yourtimetosmile.be with your account email and the Stripe receipt.
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us first — we can usually resolve issues faster than your bank can. Disputed chargebacks may result in account suspension while we investigate.
