How to post padel on Strava

Strava can log the activity. Here's how to make the post show what actually happened on court.

Step-by-step

  1. 1Record the session with a watch, or open Strava and tap Add Manual Entry.
  2. 2Set the sport type. Padel doesn't have its own Strava activity type yet — pick Tennis or Workout as the closest match.
  3. 3Save the activity so Strava has duration, time and effort metrics.
  4. 4Open UPPOST and pick the Padel template. Add score, match type (singles/doubles), partner, result, club.
  5. 5Copy the title and caption into Strava and attach the UPPOST image as the activity cover photo.

Example

Title: Padel · 6-3 4-6 7-5 with Lena · Doubles · Padel Club Amsterdam Caption: Tight three-setter. Closed it out on serve. Glass walls were forgiving today.

Common mistakes

  • Logging it as a generic Workout with no title context.
  • Leaving the score in your head — Strava has no native field for it.
  • Skipping the photo. Padel posts without a visual blend into the feed.
  • Not naming your partner — doubles is half the story.
  • Forgetting the club. Local context drives kudos from people who play there.

FAQ

Does Strava have a padel activity type?

Not yet. Most players log padel as Tennis or as Workout. The activity records correctly either way; UPPOST handles the padel-specific context separately.

Does UPPOST post to Strava automatically?

No. UPPOST creates the image, title, and caption. You copy them into the Strava activity yourself. There's no automatic posting and no Strava integration.

Do I need to fill in every UPPOST field?

No. Fill in what matters for that match. Skipped fields are simply omitted from the post.

Is UPPOST affiliated with Strava?

No. UPPOST is an independent tool. We don't claim partnership, sync, or official integration with Strava.
