How to post pickleball on Strava
Strava can log the activity. Here's how to make the post show what actually happened on the court.
Step-by-step
- 1Record on a watch, or open Strava and tap Add Manual Entry.
- 2Set the activity type to Tennis or Workout — Strava doesn't have a Pickleball type yet.
- 3Save with duration, time and any heart rate data.
- 4Open UPPOST and pick the Pickleball template. Add score, match type (singles/doubles), partner, court, result.
- 5Copy the title and caption into Strava and attach the UPPOST image as the cover photo.
Example
Title: Pickleball · 11-9 11-7 with Sam · Doubles · Riverside Courts
Caption: Tight first game, cleaner second. Third-shot drops landing better today.
Common mistakes
- Logging it as a generic Workout with no title context.
- Skipping score and match type — those are the headline.
- Not naming your partner if it was doubles.
- No photo. Pickleball posts without a visual blend into the feed.
- Logging an open-play session (3+ hours, multiple games) as one activity without notes.
FAQ
Does Strava have a pickleball activity type?
Not yet. Most players log it as Tennis or Workout. The session records correctly either way; UPPOST handles the pickleball-specific context.
Does UPPOST post to Strava automatically?
No. UPPOST creates the image, title, and caption. You attach them to the Strava activity yourself.
Do I need to fill in every UPPOST field?
No. Fill in what matters for that session. Skipped fields are simply left off the post.
Is UPPOST affiliated with Strava?
No. UPPOST is independent — no partnership, sync, or official integration.
